Medical Director, Pediatric Neuro-Oncology

We’re seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist to lead the CHOC Children’s Hospital Hyundai Cancer Institute Neuro-Oncology program in scenic Orange County, California.

The multidisciplinary Neuro-Oncology Treatment Program at the Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children’s is one of handful of such teams in the region providing patients virtually all the services they need under one roof, including access to pediatric oncologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, radiation oncologists, social workers, dietician and speech, occupational and physical therapists, nurse practitioner, case coordinator and neuropsychologist.

The ideal candidate for this opening will have exceptional communication and leadership skills, be a collaborative individual with a record of outstanding outcomes and provide positive patient and family experiences. Candidates must be Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology, have successfully completed a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology and either possess or are eligible for an unrestricted California medical license. We are looking for candidates who have at least eight years of post-fellowship experience with demonstrated clinical excellence, achievement in research, and innovation in resident and fellow education.
