The NYP Neuro-Oncology Fellowship is a wonderful educational and training opportunity at two premiere brain tumor programs—Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine. Our institutions care for a very high volume of patients with primary brain & spine tumors, CNS metastases, and neurologic complications of cancer, providing fellows with a tremendous clinical experience. Further, trainees are encouraged to become involved in the many active clinical and translational research programs present across campuses. They will work closely with an extensive interdisciplinary neuro-oncology team, including colleagues in neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuropathology, palliative care, pediatric oncology, and medical oncology to establish expertise in all aspects of neuro-oncology.
Our bi-campus program provides a wide breadth and depth of exposure within neuro-oncology. Trainees have the opportunity to work with a diverse faculty who are committed to teaching and mentorship of fellows.
