Mayo Clinic Children's Center is a multi-disciplinary group practice that focuses on providing comprehensive, high quality, compassionate medical and surgical care to children and adolescents. The Center includes 200 pediatric specialty physicians, scientists and researchers – spanning 30 medical and surgical departments – who provide care for over 50,000 children and teens each year.
Mayo Clinic is a NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with 7 pediatric hematologist/oncologists. Our group is a full member of the Children’s Oncology Group and a COG-approved hematopoietic stem cell trans-plantation center. There are opportunities for collaboration with other subspecialties within the Cancer Center and Mayo Clinic has a well-integrated, multidisciplinary neuro-oncology practice. Candidates must be board-certified/ board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology with expertise in neuro-oncology. Candidates should also have outstanding clinical and teaching skills, and experience in basic, clinical or translational research. Candidates at the Associate Professor level or higher with clinical or investigative experience, a strong publication record, and experience securing extramural funding are preferred. A proven record of collaborative science endeavors and experience directing research projects is desired.
