Development of an outpatient practice focusing on neuro-oncology, with the goal of further developing a center of excellence in neoplastic and paraneoplastic disorders of the nervous system at Overlook.
Participation in adult neurology patient care.
Identification of and participation in a broad portfolio of neuro-oncology clinical trials, in support of the mission of the Glasser Brain Tumor Center
Collaboration with all other relevant disciplines to advance multidisciplinary care.
Collaboration with the Atlantic Center for Research in furtherance of AHS’ goal of expanding clinical research
Develop and implement system-wide standardized protocols, pathways and/or treatment guidelines for patients with brain tumors;
Development of a quality assurance program for the neuro-oncology program, and participation in departmental QA, continuously enhancing patient outcomes.
Full participation in educational and scientific activities, including:
outreach to other centers, the community and others
working closely with and mentoring Medicine and Family Practice residents, and supporting their educational needs
helping in the development of a Jefferson medical student Neurology rotation
Participation as a core member of the Neurosciences Department faculty in all departmental physician meetings, assisting in departmental planning, educational efforts, quality assurance efforts, etc.

EMR & other documentation initiatives
Development & implementation of new care models & protocols,
Expanding role of house staff & mid-level providers
The Physician shall use and endorse the use of all of the Hospital's automated systems, as appropriate including CPOM.
It is agreed that as part of Physician's time as a neurologist Physician shall be entitled to devote the equivalent of one (1) full day to research, as determined by mutual consent of Physician and Hospital.
