The Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute (MGBCI) invites applications for dedicated physician faculty to join the MGB Neuro-Oncology inpatient team, a thriving oncology service that delivers world-class care to patients across the Mass General Brigham system.
This is an exciting opportunity for neuro-oncologists or experienced neurology hospitalists with a focus on oncology, board-eligible in neuro-oncology (preferred) or board-certified in neurology - who are eager to practice at the highest level in a dynamic, collaborative academic environment. The ideal candidate would have some hospitalist experience.
You’ll join an exceptional multidisciplinary team of neuro-oncologists, hospitalists, APPs, nurses, and trainees dedicated to caring for patients with complex neuro-oncologic tumor diagnoses or complications of therapy. While flexibility is essential, many of our team members have developed specialized expertise in areas such as gliomas, metastasis, neurofibromatosis, and neurologic complications of therapy.
The role offers:
Impactful Work: Shape the future of inpatient cancer care across Mass General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the MGB network hospitals.
Academic Growth: Faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School (Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor) with opportunities in education, quality, operations, and research.
Career Balance: A clinically meaningful inpatient commitment paired with protected time for academic and operational leadership, with specific expectations varying by board certification and service responsibilities.
Collaborative Culture: Join a program that values excellence, teamwork, and innovation in patient-centered care.
Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, full or part time, at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
Start date of July 1, 2027.
